Hi, I'm Joey Alarcon, a music producer and multi-instrumentalist in the band Wolves at the Gate.

I started writing songs when I was 11 years old, recording my first demos on a cassette tape recorder in my bedroom. I dreamed of the day that I would record in a big commercial studio, but when that day came, the results were underwhelming...somewhat "vanilla".  It was then I began a quest to create "the sound" that I had always heard in my head. Big but controlled, aggressive but smooth, exciting but mature.

After years of obsessively experimenting and developing "the sound", I founded Alarcon Productions to provide artists access to the premium production that I had always wanted. Since then, music has taken me places I never would have gone without it.

When I'm not touring or in the studio, I enjoy spending time at the beach with my wife, kids, and Golden Retriever, Benji. I love building relationships through music, and am always excited to collaborate with others.
